Job Summary

This position reports to the Administrator and is responsible for the safe transport of Sunshine Health & Rehab residents to and from medical appointments, the transport of new admissions, and maintenance of the SHR coaches.
Job Duties/Responsibilities

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to satisfactorily perform each of the essential duties/responsibilities listed below. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential duties/responsibilities of this job.

 

  1. Maintain the SHR van and coaches in clean and safe operational order

  2. Safely transport new and existing residents to and from medical facilities for care and treatment

  3. Maintain transportation records include resident transport and vehicle maintenance.

  4. Complete billing requests for all transportation related activities.

  5. Maintain a clean and neat professional appearance

  6. Performs duties assigned by the Administrator

  7. All other duties as assigned.

Job Qualifications

To perform this job successfully, an individual must meet the minimum qualifications listed below. These qualifications are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required to perform this job.

 

Education/Experience: to perform this job successfully, an individual must have:

  • a High School Diploma or a General Education Degree

  • Valid Washington State commercial drivers license (CDL)
